Today's topic will cover the more than 200+ communities under construction around Central Texas and the starting price point in each city. Why is new construction great for many first-time homebuyers because of the incentives. Builders will often help with closing costs and other fees associated with closing.

New construction has thrown a lifeline to many buyers, and no matter where you are looking, we can find something that works for you. Let's look at a few cities in central Texas that have the most communities under construction and their starting prices.
The growth of central Texas is planned to continue well into 2040 when we see the population explode to 7 million people along the I35 corridor. This is why it is so important to have an agent who knows the market and can help guide you to a community that works for your lifestyle.
As you can see, San Antonio and Austin alone have over 150 actively selling communities. Many of these cities, such as Buda, Kyle, Liberty Hill, and Georgetown, have communities starting in the $200's. Whereas Dripping Springs, Pflugerville, and Round Rock have communities selling in the $300's.
