Are you thinking about living in Easton Park in Southeast Austin?
Many buyers first hear about Easton Park because of the homes and new construction options available in the community. What often surprises people is how much of the neighborhood experience revolves around parks, trails, and gathering spaces designed for everyday life.
Easton Park has quickly become one of the most recognized master planned communities in Southeast Austin. With thousands of acres of development and extensive outdoor amenities, the community was designed to encourage residents to spend time outdoors and connect with neighbors.
This guide explores what it is actually like to live in Easton Park, including the parks, trail system, amenity center, and nearby growth shaping this part of Austin.
In this video, Brandon Holley with Holley Homes Realty walks through Easton Park to show the parks, trails, and community spaces that make the neighborhood unique. The video also highlights nearby growth in Southeast Austin and introduces a home currently available within the community.
Easton Park is one of the largest master planned communities in Southeast Austin. The neighborhood spans more than 2,700 acres, and when development is complete the community is expected to include roughly 12,000 homes.
What sets Easton Park apart is how the community integrates outdoor space throughout the neighborhood. Rather than concentrating amenities in one area, parks, trails, playgrounds, and gathering spaces are spread throughout the community.
This design encourages residents to walk, explore, and use the neighborhood regularly instead of simply driving in and out.
For many homeowners, choosing Easton Park is not only about purchasing a house. It is about finding a community environment that supports everyday routines and outdoor activity.
Bryant Park holds an important place in Easton Park’s history. It was one of the first gathering spaces created when the initial homes were built in the community around 2017.
Today the park continues to serve as a social hub where residents gather for events and neighborhood activities. The large open lawn has hosted outdoor movie nights, concerts, and community workouts.
Bryant Park also includes family friendly amenities such as playground equipment, a trike track for children, and a hammock garden that provides shaded areas for relaxation.
The atmosphere here reflects the community oriented design Easton Park was built around.
Knob Hill Park sits along the northern portion of Easton Park and is known for offering some of the best views within the neighborhood.
The park includes walking paths, swings, and a creative play structure built around a repurposed Austin Dillo trolley. Children can climb inside the trolley, ring the bell, and interact with the structure as part of the playground experience.
Residents often mention that this area also provides one of the best places in the community to watch the sunset.
Kieke Park honors the family that originally owned much of the land where Easton Park now sits.
The park features a large playground with climbing structures, swings, and rope elements designed for active play. Shaded pavilion space provides an area where families can gather for birthdays or community events.
One of the advantages of Kieke Park is its connection to the neighborhood trail network. Paths link the park with nearby homes, other parks, and the elementary school located within the community.
Prospect Park sits within one of the larger residential sections of Easton Park.
The park includes open green space along with traditional playground equipment and slides. Residents in this part of the neighborhood also benefit from convenient access to Highway 183, which can make commuting easier depending on work location.
Discovery Park offers a slightly different experience compared to some of the other parks in Easton Park.
The design was inspired by Seattle’s Discovery Park and blends traditional playground equipment with natural exploration elements. Visitors will find sensory gardens, climbing features, swings, and dry creek beds that encourage exploration.
The park also includes a public art installation called Air Seed Arbor, which changes appearance as sunlight moves throughout the day.
The Union District serves as the central hub of activity within Easton Park.
At the center of the district is The Union, a 14,000 square foot amenity center that offers several features for residents including:
• Resort style swimming pool
• Fitness center
• Coworking spaces
• Game room and social areas
Many neighborhood events take place here throughout the year including concerts, community gatherings, and regular Food Truck Fridays.
Nearby is Union Village Park, which adds additional play areas with climbing features, swings, and shaded seating.
For residents with pets, the community dog park known as Easton Bark provides separate areas for large and small dogs along with covered spaces and water stations.
Skyline Park is the largest park in Easton Park at approximately 21 acres.
Because it sits at one of the higher elevations in the neighborhood, certain areas provide views toward downtown Austin.
The park includes several recreational features including a splash pad, hillside slides, swings, a zip line, and a large open lawn used for events.
Heritage trees throughout the park create shaded areas where residents can relax along the walking paths.
Another defining feature of Easton Park is the trail system.
When development is complete, the community will include more than 13 miles of interconnected trails linking parks and residential sections throughout the neighborhood.
The wide concrete paths support walking, jogging, biking, and strollers. Along the trails residents will find benches, signage, shaded sections, and bike repair stations.
This network allows residents to move through the neighborhood without needing to rely on a car.
As Easton Park continues to grow, nearby retail and services are expanding as well.
The Grove at Easton Park retail area already includes businesses such as CVS, McDonald’s, and Cheba Hut. Additional services and restaurants continue to open as the community develops.
A future H-E-B grocery store has also been announced nearby and is expected to make daily errands more convenient once completed.
Residents also have access to Southpark Meadows, which sits roughly ten to fifteen minutes away and offers more than one hundred retail stores and restaurants.
Easton Park benefits from its location in a rapidly growing part of Southeast Austin.
The neighborhood sits near several major regional destinations including:
• Austin-Bergstrom International Airport
• Circuit of the Americas
• Tesla Gigafactory
These major employers and entertainment venues have contributed to increased development and attention in this area over the past several years.
Within the community, a home has recently come on the market that highlights the flexibility Easton Park can offer buyers.
The property includes a detached accessory dwelling unit located above a three car tandem garage. This ADU provides additional living space with a full kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, laundry area, separate entrance, and its own parking space.
The main home offers three bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, and just over 1,900 square feet with the primary suite located on the main floor. A dedicated office with glass panel French doors provides a comfortable workspace for remote work.
Situated on a corner lot with a covered patio and wrought iron fencing, the property offers both privacy and outdoor usability.
Homes with this type of ADU flexibility are relatively uncommon within the neighborhood and may appeal to buyers interested in multigenerational living or potential rental opportunities.
One of the things buyers frequently mention about Easton Park is that the community feels active and connected.
Between neighborhood events, parks located throughout the community, and the extensive trail system, many residents find that daily life happens within the neighborhood itself rather than requiring frequent drives elsewhere.
For buyers relocating to Austin or exploring Southeast Austin communities, Easton Park often stands out because of how intentionally the neighborhood was designed around outdoor space and social activity.
